What a great time we had this morning as we dissected our owl pellets! Many of the children originally thought the pellet was "owl poo", so it was with some relief to learn that there are just hacked up, undigested stuff.
Some of us got to be big helpers to Elaine's younger kids.
Some of us got to work with Will's older kids.
ALL of us agreed that it was fun!

My son talked about disecting an owl pellet when he came home yesterday. He said he found rodents' some skulls and jaw bones. I don't know how you found these owl pellets but I love the fact this school offers a lot of "hands-on" stuff. Thanks always for being so creative! - Hiromi
