I See You, February ❤

Even though February is our shortest month - and a school month made even shorter by mid-winter break, it is packed full of special events, learning opportunities, and fun. Please take note of the following:

February 3 - 7 is Spirit Week! Students are welcome participate. Here are the special events by day -

Monday - Wacky hair/hat/outfit day
Tuesday - Rainbow day - our color is yellow (we will provide yellow bandannas, thanks to Tate, if your child wishes to wear one) *Also on Tuesday the 4th, we will be heading out on our winter science/nature walk with our friend Kelsey the CFP naturalist.
Wednesday - Character day (I'm taking suggestions :))
Thursday - Decade day

Friday, February 7th is a particularly busy day. Not only is it pajama/stuffed animal/pancakes day, but it is ALSO

❤ valentine exchange day - store bought or homemade is fine! I'll be sending a class list of all names soon. Small, non-edible treats are fine. Please, no candy. I will have a box ready for all children to decorate on Thursday, the 6th.  No math that day.

❤ final EB day

❤ skating party at Buhr Park from 1 - 2. You are all welcome! If you child has skates and/or their own helmet, please send them along.

February 10 - 14 - Mid-Winter Break! Enjoy your time off. I will be sending math books home.

February 17 - 21 - Back to School - Spring is just around the corner!

❤ Thursday, February 20 will be the 100th Day of School - if you have not donated a can or two of food, would you consider it?
