Math Fun

You never where you are going to find inspiration. I was just thinking of some good puzzlers for my lovely and bright group of math students, when I saw the following picture on someone's Facebook page. Well, I thought if it was good enough for adults, it might just be challenging enough for my little guys.

Here it is:

I made the following equation with 18 popsicle sticks. The kids thought it was pretty funny that I had made such a glaring error. I challenged them to look at the sticks and try to make it a true statement MOVING JUST ONE STICK. Together, we came up with all four ways. Well, maybe there's more? I hope you have fun solving this mathematical quandary.
