Friday Morning Meeting - Celebrating Roald Dahl

Each Friday morning, the entire school gathers for a morning meeting. The classroom teachers and students take turns presenting - usually a project or assignment that they are working on, sometimes to report on a recent field trip, and so on. This week, it was our turn! I thought it was quite brave of us to be the very first classroom to do so this year. The kids really rocked it.

We presented our "wanted poster" to warn everyone of the tell-tale signs of a REAL witch. We have been enjoying The Witches by Roald Dahl immensely, and are about half-way through it. It is very exciting and thrilling. We also celebrated Dahl's 100th birthday this week in another way - Rachel had special activities and stories at library time.
