Latest Read-Aloud - and How to Recognize a REAL Witch

This week we started a new book to read together - and this one is always on my list of best children's books. Roald Dahl is one of my heroes, and I would be hard-pressed to pick a favorite, but Witches is definitely in the top 3.

So far, the students have been loving it. We've really just begun, but already know how to recognize a REAL witch. As Grandmama tells the narrator of the story, a real witch doesn't wear a pointy hat and have green skin - rather, she looks like a normal woman. There are some tell-tale signs, however, so the children made wanted posters to help us all recognize one. Whew!

Marcel inspected my eyeballs and shoes today and concluded that I am, in fact, human! :)
