We love to go outside, and I make sure that fresh air and free play remain a priority. However, in recent days and weeks, it is sometimes necessary that we spend at least one recess inside. You may wonder what types of things we do, in order to let children expel some of their energy and have fun (and therefore are more focused for the next academic challenge). Here are a couple pictures I took this morning, to give you a peek into a little part of our day:
Four Square is a recent addition, thanks to Elaine!
Some of the children loved making and playing with Oobleck.
Blocks and Lego are always a very popular choice.
Some children preferred to read together.
And some made lovely origami.
