Spring ? Cleaning

Our environmental superhero project for March was spring cleaning. We made our own "green" cleaning solution and really made our classroom desks, lunchroom tables and chairs, and kitchen shine! There are many different recipes out there for environmentally friendly cleaning solutions, but here is one of my favorites:

* fill up spray bottle with warm water (leaving just a bit of room at the top)
* add 2 - 3 teaspoons of organic liquid castile soap (I use Dr. Bronner's)
* add about 10 drops of either tea tree oil or peppermint oil

So inexpensive, natural, and effective! I hope you enjoy the bottle each child got to take home. Put 'em to work!
