Whew! Our workers gave excellent effort in today's bird treat "factory"! Many, many seeded pinecones were made, as well as colorful cereal rings and cranberry chains (or clumps, as the case may be). We are hoping to sell EVERYTHING on Wednesday morning. If we sell out, we will be sure to have enough to sponsor a bird of prey at Leslie Science and Nature Center.
Huge thank you to Pearl's dad and grandma, as well as Claude's mom. If you can believe it, not only did they assist our young factory workers, but they also cleaned up! And if you've ever worked with 14 young children and two tubs of Crisco, you may know what that entailed. Thank you! Thank you!
