Environmental Superheroes Plant a Tree

Today, our environmental superheroes made our tiny part of the world a tiny bit better by planting a tree. Nick, Ava's dad, brought a beautiful honey locust for us to plant right in front of the school. Each child got about 5 turns with the shovel, and our teamwork paid off. It is pretty amazing what little people can do if they are driven - such strength and perseverance! We will enjoy our new tree for many years to come, and feel a sense of pride and ownership each time we walk into our school.
