We started and ended our day with a trip to our new school. This morning, Elaine and I had our children pick a box or bag to move. We loaded the buses and headed off to see the gorgeous new classrooms, the library room, lunch room, music room and on and on. It was really emotional. As much as we love our school on Manchester, the building on Platt is just a dream come true.
This afternoon, we held our graduation ceremony at both campuses. Parents and children both got another chance to visit the beautiful new space. As sad as I am to say goodbye to our building - and to this amazing school year - I am already looking forward to the Fall.
Thank you, families, for all you've done to make this a remarkable year. I'm so happy and honored to take this journey with you.
