Reading with the Kindergarten Class

Here are a few sweet pictures for you to enjoy. These were taken yesterday afternoon, as our "big" 1st and 2nd graders read with the kindergartners. I love the fact that the Summers-Knoll philosophy encourages these wonderful relationships between ages and grades. And to think, just last year these were some of the children who were being read to! It must make one feel very proud to realize that it is now time for you to be the mentor.

Giving them the chance to be a mentor at such an early age could mean so much to them as they grow. More wonderful ways to demonstrate how special your school is and you are.
