Nature Walk with Faye
This morning we went on an hour-long nature hike with naturalist Faye Stoner. What a great Science Friday activity! Faye always does a phenomenal job with the children, and imparts so much scientific knowledge about the natural world. Today's emphasis was to look for signs of fall. We learned more about how seeds travel (which was a nice extension of our first Science Friday activity), edible berries, animal behavior and foliage color change. It was such a beautiful, sunny fall morning - perfect for such an endeavor.

I love nature walks and discovering interesting things and just being outdoors. I am sure they had a wonderful time.
