Cave Dioramas

Today we put the finishing touches on our cave dioramas. On Tuesday, we made the outside of our shoe box dioramas look very cave-like by using Model Magic that we colored ourselves. Today, we did some research by looking through illustrated cave books to decide what we wanted to include on the inside. Using more Model Magic, markers, construction paper, thread, etc., students added things like ponds, cave animals like glow worms, eyeless fish, and swooping bats, stalagmites and stalactites.
