The Best Laid Plans

Today was a day of plans gone awry. It started with exuberant children awaiting the arrival of Faye Stoner. After a phone call, it was discovered that Faye was very sick, and unable to take us on the nature walk. We do have a walk scheduled in the winter and the spring, and we may even be able to squeak in a fall walk with Faye before the snow falls.




In any event, we made the best of things (as we always do) and enjoyed an hour in the woods. It was actually a perfect way to start the day.
