Daily Schedule for 2009-2010 School Year

There may still be some changes, but our daily schedules are currently being ironed out. Fridays are "no-specials" days, so there is a more relaxed schedule on that day. We often have field trips then, and I'm also thinking about having a Friday Writing Workshop. As this all jells, I will certainly keep you posted.

So, as it stands now:

Monday

8:45 – 9:00 Welcome
9:00 – 10:00 Math
10:00 – 10:30 Snack/Recess
10:30 – 11:30 P.E.
11:30 – 12:30 Lunch
12:30 – 1:25 Art
1:25 – 2:20 Music
2:20 – 3:15 Latin
3:15 – 3:30 Outside

Tuesday/Thursday

8:45 – 9:00 Welcome
9:00 – 10:00 Math
10:00 – 10:30 Snack/Recess
10:30 – 11:30 Read/Write
11:30 – 12:30 Lunch
12:30 – 1:25 Quiet Reading/Journals
1:25 – 2:20 French
2:20 – 3:30 Homeroom (includes snack and outside time at end of day)


Wednesday

8:45 – 9:00 Welcome
9:00 – 10:00 Math
10:00 – 10:30 Snack/Recess
10:30 – 11:30 P.E.
11:30 – 12:30 Lunch
12:30 – 1:25 Art
1:25 – 2:20 Music
2:20 – 3:15 K/1 Buddies (usually literacy related)
3:15 – 3:30 Outside

Friday

A mix of writing, reading, walks, cooking, art projects, and fun!
