Spring Nature Walk with Faye

What a beautiful morning at County Farm Park.

Faye Stoner, Naturalist Extraordinaire, spent about 90 minutes with us, pointing out wild flowers, bird songs and other wonderful works of nature.

She put us to work, too, as children pulled lots of invasive species and learned why it was important that people help our native plants.

We also used our imaginations to create miniature worlds in the form of tiny amusement parks for the insects.

Our new binoculars helped us spot birds, and we were even lucky enough to spot some deer!
