Thank you Susan Murphy, who has already volunteered to join us on a Wednesday morning trip to the Farmers Market! We need at least one more volunteer to make this work. In small groups, children will really explore the market, armed with clipboards and bingo sheets. They will be required to do some real detective work in order to fill in all the squares on their sheet, and may even need to interview a farmer. This will be a great way to learn a little more about what farmers do and about various fruits and vegetables. We will also pick up some ingredients to make a healthy afternoon snack.
