This morning's field trip to the Materials Recovery Facility was a success. We learned about recycling, and played a "sort the recycled materials" relay game.
Most exciting of all was simply watching the mountains of paper, glass and plastic being sorted by the workers. The children thought this would be an extremely fun job to have.
We also made paper. I will follow up this fun activity by making recycled paper bowls with the children soon.
