Here is our growing plastic bag ball! It has gotten quite big, as you can see. While we haven't counted how many bags we've used so far, I know the number is in the thousands.
I've emailed the mayor of Ann Arbor to ask about a visit to the city council, and have not received a response. In the meantime, the students have been busy drafting persuasive letters and I will send them all (after they have been edited and revised and beautifully printed) to the Ann Arbor News Opinion page. Keep watching for further developments, and keep cleaning up those bags!
