February Events

There's a lot of fun packed into a short month, made even shorter by mid-winter break! Please make note of all the special dates and events in February.

Monday, February 4th, will be our rescheduled 1st-2nd grade book swap. The combined classes will share their love of books by bringing in gently used books to trade (between 1-5 books, please). This is our Environmental Super Hero Project for January that was blown by shivery winds into February!

Friday, February 8th, will be our Valentine exchange! I will be sending out an email with each child's name to all families. Please bring in signed valentines on this day - homemade or store-bought, it doesn't matter. Treats are fine, but please - make them non-edible. Collection boxes will be purchased by me, and will be decorated at school on Thursday.

Also on Friday the 8th, we will have our annual K-4 skating party at Buhr Park! This will happen in the morning - we have the rink reserved from 10:15 - 11:15. Please join us if you can.

Monday, February 11 - Friday, February 15 is Mid-Winter Break

Thursday, February 28 - the 100th Day of School! We will be collecting 100 cans of food for the 100th day of school. As we have for many years now, this is a special way of giving back to our community. Please help us reach our goal.
