Visiting the Chickens

We spent some of our outside time today visiting the S-K chickens. They seem to be very nicely settled in at their new home, located in one of our cozy courtyards. Some of the children even got one or two of the chickens to eat right out of their hands! Chris was so nice to give us a tour and to explain how some of the coop works. Thanks to Chris, Michelle, and their students, we will now have chickens at our school forever! You can read about the chicken project and how it came to be on their classroom blog.
