A Couple Days In...

In just a week, our lives are so different. The way "school" looks is just one of a hundred things that has changed, but it is an important one to your child. Children thrive on consistency and routine, of course, but it is also okay to loosen up a bit if it will keep everyone sane. And we should all probably reread the masses of research on why children need to be bored now and then.

Anyway, here it is at the end of Day Two. Two days of recorded greetings, emailed schedule ideas and google docs, and one live classroom story time on google meet. At home, children continue research using Epic! books and have access to lots of free books, videos, and more. I've been sent some wonderful pictures and videos of new skills and budding passions.
