Today during project time, we had the honor of hosting Margo's (Tate's homeroom) mom and grandma. They came with a lovely story about Shabbat, and enough dough for each child to braid into a small loaf.
These lovely little loaves now reside in children's backpacks to be enjoyed at home. Ingredients include flour, yeast, water, eggs, salt, and a bit of sugar. Enjoy.
