Our Paperwhite bulbs have been so much fun to observe - "planting" them in washed pebbles inside a glass jar made the magic visible for all of us to enjoy. The bulbs sprouted roots first, then little nubby shoots, and now a couple are starting to bloom. The children took such good care of them, making sure the water level was just right each day.
As they bloom, they can go home for you to enjoy - a little bit of life as we enter into late Fall. Lovely! (These bulbs came from one of my favorite places in the world - Downtown Home and Garden. They will have these bulbs available through November and maybe into December, if you wish to plant some others at home.)
