Waste Free Lunch Friday - By GUEST BLOGGER ANDREW!

Hi my name is ANDREW!!! And I am blogging about WASTE FREE LUNCH.

Once every week we have waste free lunch. Waste free lunch is where we hopefully don’t have any waste in our lunches, to keep healthy.

So in order to keep healthy, we have to keep the planet CLEAN!!! And we get sweeter sugar, fresher water, more grass for animals to grow, for more meat to keep us alive!

So please pack a waste free lunch. Thank you, smiley face, Yay!

Here are some photographs taken by Andrew today, to document Waste Free Lunch Friday:

Hi Bud!

I LOVE your topic for your first blog post. I still remember when you were just 3 years old and we used to walk around with tracy bags to pick up garbage off of the streets. I really enjoy your passion and enthusiasm (!) for this very important topic. With your passion and fire, you will make a HUGE difference in our world.

I LOVE YOU!!

Hiya! Nice photographs. Some of those foods look pretty good. Did people enjoy their lunches for the most part? Any data on wise parents pack the best lunches? the worst lunches?

Hiya Andrew. The photographs are good to see. I can see what really happened- from packed lunch to all finished. Do you have any data on how good the lunches were? Was yours good? What parents make the worst lunches and the best ones? Do you suppose the parents do better lunches when it is a zero waste day and they know all of you guys will be looking at it all very closely and taking pictures of it? I think this could be called 'transparency.'
Thank you for doing the work on this!

Dear Andrew,

It's great to read about waste-free lunch day and really sense your excitement about it. And you guys have been getting the whole school to do it too--just think of the ripple effect this has, helping to remind us every day to waste less . . . for our beloved planet. The photos do a great job of showing what waste-free lunch days are all about. Hooray!

Hi Andrew - Your blog has such energy! Isn't it fun how words can be so exciting?!?!?! The last few pictures of the different recycling and trash bins really capture the goal - sometimes pictures can say even more than words. Great post, I loved it.
