Spring Walk with Faye

We spent an hour with naturalist Faye Stoner on Friday morning and, as usual, the children and I learned a lot. It was a perfect morning for a spring walk - a tiny bit cool, a tiny bit wet. The woods were alive with all sorts of spring blooms - we saw jack in the pulpit, trillium, violets and others. The birds were out in force, and serenaded us with beautiful song.

I love being outside and enjoying the wonders of nature especially this time of the year. Spring with the signs of new life just make you feel better. Happy Mother's Day Susan.
