Friday
We have a more relaxed schedule on Fridays because there are no "specials". We will take advantage of this by doing some special projects, like cooking, building water structures at the County Farm playground, etc. Our Tribes activities will often take place on Fridays, and we try to schedule as many of our field trips as possible for this day.
I am also going to try something new this year - I'm calling it Science Friday. Each Friday we will have a mini science lesson or exploration.

Hi Susan & class of 2010-2011. Seems you have an exciting year planned for the class. I love science and doing science projects so I hope you will have a lot of detail on the ones you do. I look forward to following your progess in the coming months. If you like nature I have an interesting blog concerning the Tiger Beetle Larve on my site. It is a strange but interesting insect that stays underground all the time.

School doesn't start for us until September, but I'm already thinking of lots of fun and educational things for us to discover.
