We just started a new chapter book - and it happens to be my favorite. I love pretty much anything that Roald Dahl wrote, but I think this is his best. Who could not love a book about the intense and very special relationship between a 9-year-old boy and his dad? Danny says, "My father, without the slightest doubt, was the most marvelous and exciting father any boy ever had." The love these two feel for each other is inspiring. And the adventure they share ... well, the children are already on the edges of their seats and it hasn't even begun yet!
