Math class is always full of fun, but we particularly love learning NEW things. One of these new things very recently introduced is order of operations, known as PEMDAS (Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally). I know I had to reach far back in my math knowledge to those fuzzy pre-algebra years, but it has proved to be exciting and challenging to the students. By the way, we have not worked with the E in PEMDAS yet - so no exponents. If your child would find it enjoyable, try making up some order of operations and solve them together!
