We are studying physics this month - so all hail Newton! So far, we've read a few books about force and motion, and have seen a couple of highly informative and entertaining videos by Bill Nye, the Science Guy. We've conducted several experiments, including sending a balloon across a string (to demonstrate Newton's third law of motion). We will have several experiences using the scientific method and are in the middle of such an experience now...once I supply ANOTHER carton of eggs (don't ask), we'll be all set. The children and I are really enjoying this unit thus far. I love when learning seems like play!
