Meet My Writing Tools (They're Kind of Magic!)

First up, meet Space Person. This little tool lives in the pencil baskets on each desk, and helps young writers keep appropriate space between the words.

These are the REAL MVPs. The magic rubber bands, which were gifted to me by a friendly neighborhood witch, give children the ability to hear the sounds of the words they are trying to write. They simply need to whisper the word they are trying to spell while slooooowly stretching the rubber band in front of their mouths. They can usually get many of the letters!

The peppermint gum helps children (and adults) focus on their writing, and concentrate longer. (If you want to supply your own special mint gum, please feel free!)
