Another Successful Flea Market

The Flea Market was a HUGE success. We shopped 'til we dropped. The children remembered to bring in $1.00 and had a great time finding bargains of all sorts. Irma is getting up in years, but thankfully she had her wonderful partner Gladys again to help handle the crowd.

While this may all seem like fun and games (and it IS very fun), it is so much more. Children got real life practice in handling and naming coins, coin values, making change, and adding/subtraction up to $1.00. Until next year, we hope the children all enjoy the huge bargains they received.
