Here's something I've made many times with my students over the years, after a fresh blanket of snow has come. We didn't get to it this year - it just wasn't in the cards. But if you want to, you can take advantage of this snowy day - it's easy and really delicious.

Snow Ice Cream

Ingredients:
8 cups snow, or shaved ice
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
Place snow or shaved ice into a large bowl. Pour condensed milk over and add vanilla. Mix to combine. Serve immediately in bowls.
