This Week in Review - January 30 - February 3

Writing projects included making "adjective frames" for our new self portraits, and working some more on our writers workshop pieces. In math, we continued working on our place value skills with the 1001 Things to Spot multi-week project, and have started taking collections of used toys for our annual flea market math. 

Mia's mom came in to celebrate Chinese New Year, and the children heard a story and made lots of colorful paper lanterns for both home and school.

We loved to see the snow reappear on our playground - recess is so much more fun when there is white stuff around to play with! We also used some of the fresh stuff to make snow "ice cream" - our latest in monthly "Environmental Superhero" projects.
