Magic Morning in the Woods

We walked and walked, until we found "our" tree.

After decorating it with birdie treats (mostly seeded pinecones) we lay very still and quiet.

It was hard to be still. But we really wanted to "catch" a woodland creature enjoying the bounty.

Then we warmed our hands and stomachs with some hot chocolate, before the long walk back to school.
