Today it was just too beautiful to stay inside. For Quiet Reading time, we packed up a big blanket and a pile of books, and headed across the street to County Farm Park. The students had already picked out the perfect private and shady spot while we were with Faye on Thursday.
After reading for about 30 minutes, we were ready to stretch our legs and get a bite to eat. We played in wooded area (feeding squirrels and collecting leaves and acorn tops) and at the playground.
We are so lucky to leave next door to such a special place.
