29 Pairs of New Pajamas!

Thank you, thank you, for donating to our first annual pajama drive. The K-2 classes have enjoyed some special activities today, and nearly all children are in their cozy pajamas with a sweet cuddly stuffed toy in tow. We had a mini-party this morning, complete with a DVD (about nature myths), stories, and popcorn. But, best of all, we counted and marveled at all the lovely pajamas that were donated by our community. Nearly 30 young children in the Ann Arbor area will soon be sporting possibly their first pair of brand new pjs when they go to bed.

I am awaiting donation instructions from Scholastic Books as to where to donate our lovely contribution, but it is sure to be a local homeless shelter or similar.
