Library Time with Our Kindergarten Buddies

Each Thursday, we have library time right before lunch. A library volunteer comes to read us a story, and then we get to check out books. Today, we were joined by the 13 children who are kindergartners this year.

It did my heart so much good today, to observe my "big" first and second graders reading to our kindergarten buddies. This was the very first time we've gotten together - our schedules are so busy! But Val and I are committed to making this special time more of a regular event.
