First Day - Science with Dr. G.

Yesterday was a wonderful first day of school! From the first minutes of morning meeting with Joanna, to the final minutes spent in our beautiful new library space, the children were happily engaged and so obviously thrilled to be back in school.

One of our "specials" on Tuesdays is Science with Dr. G. This year, Dr. George has his own lab, and we were excited to see it and to explore. We learned that food is made up of protein, carbohydrates, and fat. We did some experiments to find out if foods have sugar. Best part? Dr. George spit into a cup!

Next Tuesday, September 11, the children are invited to bring in some foods of their own that they wish to test.
