I am very happy that you like to read, and that you read so well. Your mom was also a very good reader when she was your age, but I think you are a better writer than she was at the same age. We are looking forward to reading more from about your class and the school. It sounds like a lot can happen during that time, and perhaps not all of it is quiet :) I also like the idea of reading with a flashlight under a blanket.

ValentaValentahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04527169223513698589noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2383744011223879652.post-46260154986283807982016-01-29T12:20:18.899-08:002016-01-29T12:20:18.899-08:00Hey Marann, that was an awesome post! One time when I was young I was reading in my room, but my lamp was too bright, so I covered it with a towel so my mom wouldn't know I was reading instead of sleeping. Guess what happened? The light bulb was hot enough that it started to burn the towel, and my mom smelled it. I was busted!
Best,
KevinAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14775960613810720792noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2383744011223879652.post-77780959459689200792016-01-28T18:09:18.919-08:002016-01-28T18:09:18.919-08:00Marann,

I think if I were in your class I would have chosen to write about silent reading also. Today I was reading the second book in a series I have been enjoying. Mateo was a bit noisy so I put on some headphones just like your fellow students! I listened to soothing jungle sounds and drifted off into the story as I read. What a joy!
Keep up the good work at school. Can't wait to hear more about it next Monday.
Warmly, John WakemanAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01038665318227889685noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2383744011223879652.post-69857050218285184372016-01-27T18:11:30.899-08:002016-01-27T18:11:30.899-08:00Hi Marann,

Reading is healthy for your brain and sitting on the floor is healthy for your body. Do you have discussions with your classmates about books you like? When someone brings a book from home and it looks and sounds like a god book, do you get an itch to read their book?
